The quote "Good observations and reflections reduce our chance of suffering" strikes a chord with me.

Details Of Your Entry

It highlights the relevance and importance of others' experiences and using that knowledge to guide my decisions. Wisdom often comes not just from our own experiences but also from observing the world around us and reflecting on the outcomes of others' actions.

Personally, I remember when one of my colleague was struggling with burnout and she resorted to unhealthy living habits such as eating excessively and also, eating sugary food. Over time, it resulted in a sedentary lifestyle and she quit the job to relax at home. This experience made me reflect on my own work habits, and I started prioritizing a healthy work-life balance. By doing so, I avoided similar stress and was able to support others in managing their emotions, stress and time better.

I believe that to be wise and helpful to others is firstly, by listening and observing. Paying close attention to people's challenges and successes and learn valuable lessons from it. Next, is to reflect and adapt from the observed experiences and make better choices for myself. Lastly, sharing my reflections and insights to guide and support others who are also facing the same issue. Being wise and helpful to others often starts with self-awareness and empathy. It's about creating positive ripples through thoughtful actions and shared experiences.
